In the 1920s, it was Europe's largest factory and is now a unique industrial monument in Italy and the world. The factory has been transformed into a multifunctional centre designed by Renzo Piano.
As part of the reconversion, a 26,000 m2 structure was created to host events: the Lingotto Congress Centre.
One of its highlights is the Auditorium Giovanni Agnelli, named after the founder of FIAT, featuring excellent acoustics and a capacity of 1,900 seats.
The inaugural concert with the Berliner Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Claudio Abbado, took place here on 6 May 1994, marking the opening of the Lingotto Congress Centre to the meeting industry. The venue is perfect for hosting congresses and concerts in Turin, offering a functional and historically rich setting.
